Notes on the obligation to take back and return batteries

Batteries and accumulators that contain harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out dustbin, which means that you must not dispose of them in household waste. The chemical name of the pollutant may be written under the dustbin symbol. Cd stands for cadmium, Pb for lead and Hg for mercury.

In accordance with the Battery Act on the return and disposal of used batteries and accumulators (Federal Law Gazette Volume 2009 Part I No. 36 of June 30, 2009, page 1582 and Federal Law Gazette Volume 2009 Part I No. 74 of November 19, 2009, page 3783), we are obliged to take back the rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries sold by us for disposal. You can therefore return used rechargeable batteries and batteries to us free of charge. Please send these together with a short note (e.g. "For disposal") free of charge to:

macle GmbH
von-Monschaw-Strasse 3
47574 Goch
Germany
